Dream “Too Big!”

So I know I’m not the only woman who has felt like it will pretty much take forever to fulfill the dreams of my heart. The mindset to fulfill your own heart’s desires can be a tough one to have. Sometimes it feels as though you are getting closer and closer. Other times, it feels as though you couldn’t be further from your destiny. Over the years, I have learned that the road to fulfilling your dreams isn’t perfect, and that we should enjoy the journey that God has set before us. Here are some things that I have learned throughout my process that definitely stick out to me.

It is so important to actually BELIEVE in your dream. Once you have the mindset that you WILL fulfill your dream, your drive and determination will follow. Don’t be afraid to do the very things that you can’t go a day thinking about. See yourself flourishing, joyful, and growing in the place you actually want to be. Eventually, your desire will drown out your fear.

A good friend of mine once said, “If you don’t sacrifice what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice.” Something or even somethings have to give if they are in the way of you fulfilling your dream. If it is worth it, you will do whatever needs to be done to make sure you obtain it.

Of these things that I’ve stated, the most valuable thing that I have learned while on this unfinished journey is that your dream should be so big that even parts of it are blurry. Why, you ask? Because if you literally see every detail of your dream, it is too small. This advice that I received from relationship and life coach Tony Gaskins literally changed my life. Don’t limit the possibilities that God has given you with your human mind. Once you commit your works to God, you are sure to succeed.

You have a God-given right to dream big. Don’t be afraid to be too great. There is no such thing. Seize your opportunities, and strive to live the purpose-driven life you deserve, queen. You are worth it!
