I know that many of us know the dynamic and anointed pastor T.D. Jakes, however, I am not sure that many of you knew that he is a father to five children. Two of them are women in ministry that give life-changing messages in order to witness to the people of God. Sarah Jakes is the epitome of the statement “God can use anyone for His glory.” She became pregnant at 14, and divorced her first husband, but has allowed the wounds to help her minister to other young women. Her bravery to tell her story has made her one of my heroes. This message, When Winter Becomes Home, addresses the question, “what do you do when you’ve asked God to order your steps, yet nothing is going right?” This message has greatly impacted me.
