Chadd Black Day in Houston features electric concert with Tweet, Ro James, philanthropy and more

HOUSTON -- December 1 was Chadd Black Day in the City of Houston and the self-proclaimed “Mogul in the Making” gave guests at Rise Rooftop a number of reasons to celebrate some of the city’s most talented artists, philanthropic efforts and Black excellence.

Hosted by Houston faves KG Smooth and Totally Randie, Black presented his electric “Friends Concert” Thursday night featuring notable artists Tweet, Ro James, Liz Vaughn, Marium Echo, Mary Griffin, Spud Howard, Sally Sosa, and more.

A drumline also surprised the crowd, adding to the excitement of the already-amazing show. In addition to wonderful performances that captured the audience, performers gave a tribute in honor of the life of Migos rapper Takeoff, who was shot and killed in Houston in November.

Guests also congratulated Black on his hard-earned success, all of them making comments on his undeniable work ethic and influence on Houston culture that has spread wherever he has gone throughout his entertainment career. Black also gave back to the community with a toy drive in the city.

Black started one of Houston's top talent agencies, the 713 Agency, in 2018. The popular content creator and publicist has worked alongside major corporations such as RCA Records, Interscope, Sony Music, Epic, and Atlantic Records. He has done entertainment and campaign consulting for major networks such as VHI, WeTV, and BET.
