So here’s some news that made our hearts smile– Our favorite twins of television are going to grace our t.v. screens after 17 years! Yes, you heard that right! A reboot of the popular sitcom Sister, Sister is officially in the works!
According to Essence Magazine, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are looking for the right production team to take on the exciting task!
“We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show… I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge,” Tia told Nylon.
And although the process has been a little tedious, that’s not stopping the sibling duo from getting things done!
“We’re moving forward, we’re taking those strides. They’re slow strides, but we’re pushing as hard as we can to make people happy and make our fans happy,” Hardrict added.
Whether they are serving viewers nostalgic vibes or giving us something new, this idea is definitely exciting! Together or apart, these sisters are doing their thing!
